But as i was going through the testimonials of the boy closest to my heart, i found a testimonial from this girl... she said that he's the best. she even called him "mah baby boy" and she even said the "L" word. God, i can't take this anymore. (I'm not using the Lords name in vain, i'm really calling out to him which rules out what i did as a violation of the second commandment) Maybe i'm just jealous? so i clicked on her profile, and surprise surprise! i couldn't view it. there's probably a loving testimonial from him to her in that account. oh well. it's really bothering me, but i feel so helpless. maybe i'll get back at him later. maybe i won't even mention it. maybe i'll try to make him jealous. maybe it will work. maybe it won't. and maybe i'm going insane.

Ok, so while i was studying, i was putting on pantene's new leave on hair conditioner, naturally, i got some of the stuff on my hands. So i went to my bathroom to wash it off. And while i was working a lather, i stared to zone out and my thoughts drifted away to the chem lab exam we took earlier this week. I started to contemplate on the fact that while i was just simply washing my hands, the soap i was using contained surfactants with the structure of a hydrophobic or water fearing/fat loving, nonpolar tail which binded with and mobilized the substance in my hand while the hydrophillic or water loving tail worked to pull away from my hand and to the water. O_o amazing huh?

...You know what else is amazing? How i'm blogging right now, while i have 3 exams tomorrow to study for.

OH JOY! one free day... i've been so harassed the past few weeks. 3rd year's so much work. well, maybe it's because this is the first time i actually started caring about submitting homework and doing my iw. hahahaha! we were having chemistry class this morning, and i was so happy. i don't even know why. chem makes me very happy. hahahaha! but on the drive home, i was reminiscing about all the things i was able to do last year that i can't do now. =( i miss the times when KFC jammed almost everyweek... i miss the shaking of the chandelier due to justin's face melting drumming skills. i miss how gretchen would finish everything i couldn't eat. i miss pipay's one-footed hobbit dance. i miss bea's hyperactivity. i miss how glec would act so pa-simple about wanting brownies. i really miss that. :'( waaaaah!!! one year na tayong magkakasama... i love you guys. i'm so excited for jamming tomorrow. ^_^ my living room and my chandelier misses you guys. a lot. no wait, it's me who misses you pala. hahahaha! ;p jamming opportunities are so rare now because of the workload. and it really makes me value our time together. (emoting) hahahaha! but seriously... haaaaaaaay.

Killing For Chocolate will be celebrating it's first year as a band... and we want to take this chance to give thanks to all of you who supported us along the way... Way back during our first gig on the goldland plaza roofdeck last august 20... until the Poveda sophomore night. All of you made performing such a blast. Thank you for always believing in us. ^_^

Saw this on the internet while looking for an image of holding hands for our CL apostolic group logo for peace... I just had to post it. it's so beautiful. You're a great writer, bob perks!

THE ART OF HOLDING HANDS

Some say it's old fashioned.
Some say it's a necessity in a world of insecurity. Other's just
simply call it romantic.
Holding hands.
I love to see people holding hands. It's such a powerful statement to
the world. One that screams, "She's mine!" or "He's with me!"
I can't say that I see it much any more. I pride myself in noticing
the romance in life. I get chills when I see an unusual marriage proposal
played out on television. But these outward signs of love seem to be
disappearing.
I remember driving down the road and having my girl sitting next to me
in the car. I mean right next to me. I saw a couple that close yesterday
and thought, "Oh, my God she's not wearing a seat belt?" I was mad at the
guy for permitting this.
But I love to see older couples walking together holding hands. I met
one such couple yesterday on my return trip home. Yes, I stopped at a
mall. It seems my life is spent there. When I travel, I visit the local
mall just to spend some time, get a little exercise and of course watch and
meet people.
This day I met Art and Lilly.
I couldn't help but watch them as they strolled past the stores,
pausing every once in a while to giggle and kiss like two young love birds.
And they were holding hands. In fact, swinging their arms like two love
sick teens. I absolutely loved it. I had to say hello.
"I must tell you how refreshing it is to see the two of you so much in
love," I said.
"Oh, you can tell?" Art laughed.
"How long have you been together?" I asked.
"Forever!" Lilly said. "I believe we were meant to be from the
beginning of time. It was God's plan."
"I noticed you holding hands. I don't see that too much any more.
It's so romantic," I said.
"Well, we just don't hold hands. We connect our spirits. There's a
real science to it, you know," said Art.
"I never realized that," I said.
"Well, there are different types of hand holding," he said and went on
to explain.
"One is like this, where you just wrap your hands around each other's.
Then there's the hand hold and arm hug, where you bring her close and pull
your hands in front of you like this," he said as he demonstrated.
"Of course there's the hold where you intertwine your fingers," Lilly
said and then giggled like a kid.
"Then the real romantic one is when you reach for her hand and just
before your grasp it, you gently pull it up and kiss it. Just like in the
old days," said Art.
"And the swing? I saw you swinging your arms as you walked along," I said.
"Oh, that's just fun, goofy stuff. That's when we are just being
silly. If we could still skip, we would," said Lilly. Then they actually
tried. They stopped after one or two and just laughed. They were both so
very happy.
"You know I'm going to write about this. I send out stories to
friends I've never met on the Internet," I told them.
"Oh, the Internet," sighed Art. "That's the problem, you know.
People spend much too much time at home in front of computer games, videos,
and the Internet. You can't hold hands with a computer between you," he
said.
"No, but I can touch hearts. I will when I share your story with
them," I said.
"Do me a favor," Lilly asked.
"Yes, my young love birds," I said. They laughed.
"Call your story, The Art of Holding Hands! He's the best," she said.
They kissed, and then strolled away hand in hand. And one more time, they
turned to me and did a little skip as they started swinging their arms.
And yes, they laughed.
They truly knew, "The Art of Holding Hands."

Everyone has one... May it be the prim and proper (or so he makes it seem) altar boy...

The bad boy sporting his "just woke up and grabbed the first shirt i saw among the heap of clothes on my floor" look at the back row...

Or maybe the average boy-next-door type, oozing with boyish charm and appeal, who sits a row away with his adorable chucks... like mine. <3

But like many of you out there, i haven't got a clue as to what his name is. does he even know i exist? can he tell by the way i look at him during "peace be with you" that he is my one and only, my ultimate, (ten teneneeeen!) church crush?!?

Usually, i forget all about my church crush right after hearing mass. But for some reason, today, i've been thinkink about him the whole day. wondering what his name is. Is it Mark? Could it be Miguel? Or maybe he's a Mike... I don't know. And i don't know if i ever i will know. perhaps... in the future. but for now, i'm just happy thinking about you, church boy.

So... Today was the dreaded first day. It wasn't so bad, actually. I didn't realize how much i missed everybody until i realized i was hugging my friends and jumping around the corridor like crazy. Hahahahaha! I'm in section A now with Coki. Hahahaha! I got into a really loud and crazy class. I love it. I have Mrs. Borja as an adviser. That will be interesting. Hahahaha!

Ok, i just can't stress enough how excited i am for the latest by tim burton... corpse bride!!! woohoo! can't wait.

Wow, i really can't believe that the summer has come to an end. seems like only yesterday we were throwing our final exam reviewers in the air, and rushing the answers to our music exam. hahahaha! this has been a really interesting summer. travelled to a country, had my heart broken, took up chemistry classes, and managed to fall in love again... and it's been one hell of a ride.

Cunning. Through use of many of life's faculties,

Ok, so yesterday for chem, we had uniform day. it was hilarious. well, except for the fact that carlos and arjay decided to not come in uniform. dayaaaa! so then after chem, i went to power plant to watch amityville horror. damnit, what the hell was i thinking stepping into the cinema??? the seats beside me were empty pa, since it was a tuesday evening, daaaaaaaym!!! about 20 minutes into the movie, i was already screaming my sorry ass off. i had to sleep tuloy with my baby sister that night. hahaha! ang likot, mehn! but oh well. at least i was able to get a bit of sleep.

I don't know, but i do tend to have a lot of these moments wherein i just stare into space while listening to music and analyzing lyrics. it's actually such a great feeling. a really great feeling. like flying in an ocean of words. impossible. hahahahaha! the impossible feeling. Hmmmm... where did we stop last time? i cannot recall. so many changes have taken place since i last left this place. and i do not recognize it.

... ok! getting into the poet-mode! hahahahaha! anyway... in a way, it's good to be back. gosh, i can't believe that in a span of one month and ten days, i have unoticedly (is that even a word?) finished a chapter of my life, and have already begun to write a new one? (SIGH) whether it be my will or not, i will... i will continue this book of my life... "life according to elise". with it's unexpected twists and turns. no, make that "spirals and staircases". hahahahaha! it is... good to be back.
